Since this is probably too long as it is, I will post a summary of my machine: Machine: Motherboard: ASUS Z87-PRO CPU: INTEL 4770K @ 3.5gHz Memory: 16GB of G.Skill Ripjaws If you continue to cause errors, you will be blocked again for an indefinite period. Until ironically, we ran out of the hard drives... I've seen this happen most often with not enough voltage while overclocking, but since you say you haven't overclocked, then perhaps the default settings aren't correct for stock performance.

if you see signs of this, you can make a case for Dell to advance replace your hard drive. finally did.... But most do follow the recommendations (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_NVIDIA_GPU is a good source for the 'official' settings... http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/67305-Freeze-Crash-BSOD-issues Teil des „FINAL FANTASY XIV Produzentenbriefs LIVE Brief des Produzenten – LIVE-Sondersendung!

Had no problems with it until Patch 2.5. It also crashed again later at 74 degrees Celsius, fan speed at 74%. My specs are all filled in as well as I know them. PICS ONLY!

The link in your comment is the very link I use to compare benchmark results, testing etc.The game works fine everything turned up full after clean installing nvidia driver with Nvidia this contact form If you don't mind I can PM you if it happens again. But the crashing was happening long before I ever updated my drivers - I updated them because the crashing started. Is the system crashing while playing some other game?

Curious as to why this was happening, I asked several people on various websites but even with Event Logs and Error Codes to hand I cannot find a solution. The bugcheck was: 0x00000116 (0xfffffa801136b010, 0xfffff88015c03d1c, 0xffffffffc000009a, 0x0000000000000004). have a peek here If the temperature gets above 100ºC, quit the test - the video card is overheating. - Click "Quit" to exit What you are looking for: - excessive heat from the GPU

Having a problem show up after multiple restarts... No error reports after restart. and it performs fine on FF14.

BSOD happens randomly. I prefer WhoCrashed to read blue screens; it's a little more user friendly and usually helps point you in the right direction to start fixing.
