It has me totally confused and I couldn't even ‘find' the device even though I disconnected it from the Mac and mains then reconnected it. At this point I need to physically disconnect the cable and reconnect it for the drive to appear again. What's really weird is that... So from my perspective, its problem was, I purchased a defective drive (Sorry it might not help you guys in your specific cases.) I set it to never and have not had a problem since. Device Manager then instead just sees the Virtual Drive.. But twice, drive M has disappeared from sight without my rebooting or anything.What could be the problem?
