Had problems with volume control not showing up. FYI My situation had nothing to do with external/additional monitors…just the one app opened up with the window bar off the TOP of the screen, so I closed it and reopened Unfortunately, as with using the Window menu the windows will likely also be collapsed and consolidated in one location on the screen, so you will have to manually resize them. In addition, the window will likely be collapsed, so be sure to drag one of the edges to resize it properly again. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. The OS should just recognize that the 2nd monitor isn't there anymore and should snap windows to the absolute center of the "active" desktop.
An actual easy solution in Vista? It's so frustrating having a window just "off-screen" where you can see the edge but can't drag it or anything.
