If a reboot is scheduled, the following command, run with administrative privileges, will disable the task: schtasks /change /tn \Microsoft\Windows\UpdateOrchestrator\Reboot /DISABLE Knowing this, you can create your own Scheduled Task to Exit and reboot Works w/o restore or reg fixes… simple quick, easy….   2. After changing this setting, either reboot your computer or run the gpupdate /force command in the way we mentioned above.
  3. Check it more often to catch those downloads/installs that happen outside the regular window.
